This is one of a pair of 'icons' made for St Michael and All Angels Church in Lancing. Surrounding Jesus are images of seagulls and surfing kites to represent the seaside culture of Lancing. The glider tail fin and the railway carriage celebrate the recent manufacturing history of the town.
